    Hi all,
I’ve read thru a few “light” threads, but ended up with information overload.

I would like to post my own question:
Which upgraded bulb will work in my 2017 SR?
Not looking for an LED set-up, just a direct replacement for the dims, brights, & fogs that will out perform the factory bulbs and work well with the factory headlights themselves.
Something that the local O’Reillys might have.

    Thanks in advance.

Upgraded halogens you can get local at O'Reillys most likely to be Sylvania SilverStar ultra or zXe in H11 for low beams. The High beams are H9 and I've not been able to find an upgraded H9 local. Fog lights could be H16 or H11 depending on your lights. If they come on the truck they are likely H16 which are 19 watt and I've not found then local at all. If your fog lights are aftermarket or purchased from someone with a TRD model then they are probably H11 also.

Ok, I went the H11 Ultras on both headlight (dims) and fogs.
I almost went with the HID ZXE’s on the headlights, but then decided against. The salesman at my local O’Reillys told me they are great, but to be prepared to have on-coming traffic blink their brights at me, as that has been his experience.
Regardless, the Ultras are definitely an upgrade that I am happy with.
    Thanks all

Modified regular h9 halogen bulb.. tú have to modify a little the base of the bulb.... not everyone do this but it have worked fine for me...
    H11

    H9

H9 burn hotter so the bulbs last less than h11... being projector headlights you still have the cutoff so you don’t blind people..

I bough a good set of hella h9 and modified them...

Pretty satisfied... around $25 bucks spent..

    $48 a pair purchased in-store.
The HID’s were about $10 more.
Regarding the HID’s, I live in a fog area (just before & after winter) and I was concerned that having too bright of a bulb would actually be counter-productive in the fog. But that’s is just an assumption on my part.

My brights are H9’s and there weren’t any upgrade options.

I just bought some zxe gold. They are a more whiter color than the silverstar ultra. It seems brighter..
