I got exactly a 2 inch lift in the front. I did not use any spacers in the front. I'm very happy with the lift. Factory UCA.

I did take my truck for its first shake down run after the lift today. Although it feels a little flighty on the highway it was much better offroad than the spacer lift I had.

Did u add spacers? Why did u decide to go with 3 instead of 2?

No spacers on front shocks. No spacers on CB. I went with a 3 degree shim because my pre install working angles were as follows: CB 3.1* and 6.1* rear pinion. Math is 6.1 - 3.1 = 3 to equalize both operating angles.

Finally installed this kit with Wheelers 3-leaf AAL on my 2017 DCLB TRDOR. Also had the ECGS bushing done at the same time. I left my overload leaf in the rear. Got 1.5” front (20.5” to 22” HTF) and 2” rear (22” to 24” HTF). Was hoping for more up front. Will likely add 0.250 spacers in the future. No taco lean, everything pretty even. I have a CB drop kit but didn’t install it and have no vibration issues. I’ll hold onto it for a bit and see if that changes. So far everything is silky smooth.

Keeping stock tires on until alignment settles. Might as well figure that out on 30,000 mile tires and upgrade after everything is settled and dialed in.

Also, I had an issue with the driver CV axle nut. Everything was torqued down and appeared to be seated after ECGS install, but 2-3 days later it fully seated. Leading to play in the hub and mushy inconsistent brakes. Luckily there is a thread in the suspension forum on it that made it a fairly quick and easy fix. Everything is good now.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...how-the-dealer-accidentally-solved-it.541152/

In terms of timing I had the lift installed 3 days before I got my 30,000 mile service where they changed out both diff fluids and t-case fluid. So everything is fresh, topped off and ready for the next 30k with the lift.

Some people say the ride is stiff or firm, I don’t really feel that way about it. I think it feels similar to the stock OR stuff but properly damped. I get less oscillation after bumps, it settles quicker. So far I’m loving it now that all the kinks are worked out from the install.

It took me a little over 100 miles after it settled the front suspension. I have gain almost 2.5" lift at the front. I added 0.25" spacer to both sides.

I do about 300 miles a week, so it’s likely settled. Plus I’ve been smacking potholes, speed bumps and dips every chance I get to break things in. I’m impressed with how well this set up takes hits compared to the stock OR stuff. Need to get it on dirt and see how it does.

Almost dead level up front, 1/4" lower on the back right side.

I've put about 5 miles on it and will get it aligned after 100-200 miles when everything gets happy.

Pardon the dirty truck in the photos and the unexciting backdrop.

A few more photos. Ordering 1/4” spacers to bring the front up a bit more. Loaded up the bed with gear and put the bike rack and 2 bikes on for the weekend. Really liking the support of the 3-leaf AAL. Only had about 1/2” of sag with ~300 lbs back there. Ride is great loaded and unloaded. Plan to bring the front up another 1/2” and then new tires.

    No vibrations at all.
It fixed my taco lean at the front.
    Rear has 1/4" driver lean

Anyone getting the rumble strip feeling upon deceleration after installing this kit? To clarify it’s felt in the brake pedal when slowing down 15mph to a stop. Rotors replaced and drums are in perfect shape....Looking for some help if anyone has experienced this? Thanks in advance!

Look up “needle bearing” on TW. If it goes away in 4W Hi that’s a symptom. Also people experience issues drive shaft rumble, angle related.

Just ordered 1/4” spacers from Headstrong. Need another 1/2” to bring my front to within 1.5” of the rear. Ride is great front and back, just need to get a little more up front. Hope to install the spacers this Friday and realign.

Thought about removing the overload leaf in back, but really like the way it handled ~300 lbs of added weight (bikes, bike rack, luggage, etc..) over the weekend. 1/4” spacers up front seem like the path of least resistance.

It's probably rear driveline vibes. You need to measure your working angles on your rear driveshaft. Need to cancel the CB u joint with the rear pinion u joint. That solved mine. I installed a 3* shim under the leaf pack.

Added 1/4” Headstrong spacers to both sides up front. It’s pretty crazy what another 1/2” does for appearances. Brought me to an even 2” of lift all around. I have 1.5” of rake. Loving this set up so far. I may try the Wheeler’s 3/8 AL spacer in the future if it settles further.

No need for CB drop so I may sell the one I bought.

Stock UCA's? Alignment or vibe issues? I have the spacers and still need to do my install.
