TL/DR: How many VLED resistors and what type for changing all 4 corners to LED?

I'm replacing my headlight lenses due to melting DTRLs. I am switching to LED DTRLs/Signals on all 4 corners to hopefully prevent this issue again. The 2008s are incandescent all around from the factory.

If I am reading the VLED page correctly, I only need 2 VLR3 resistors to account for all 4 bulbs. Is this true or not?

I want to keep the DTRL and figure it is pretty easy to stick resistors to something metal behind the taillights if all I have to do is buy 2. I would prefer not to dremel the current flasher.:)

To answer this, I said fuck it and ordered 2 VLR3s. After I installed the new headlight assemblies, I changed out both the front and rear signals with LEDs and put the VLR3 resistors on the rear.

It works and I am able to keep my DRLs without grinding on my current flasher.
