No. Not at all. They have great customer service to answer any questions.
Took me about four hours by myself. One tip though. For ease of installation, keep seat covers in the sun or inside vehicle. The heat makes seat covers more playable

So do you just put them (slip them on), on top of current seats? Or is it a lot more involved?

No. Just slips over existing seat covers.
There are a few helpful YouTube videos as well. If done correctly, seat covers look like factory leather

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I purchased the largest pair of pants I could find on Amazon and used the material to make my console cover and recover my arm rest inserts on the door panels. My uncles have owned upholstery shops my whole life so I grew up helping them in the summers and picked up a couple tricks along the way.

Check out Bartact. They’re huge in the Jeep community. I had them in a Jeep and they’re top notch quality and fit extremely well. They started making them for the 3rd gen Tacoma recently and seem just as nice.

I’m very happy with my Clazzios in leather. Snug, durable, stylish and great customer service.

Take your time and follow the instructions. Takes a full 2 hours of pushing and pulling but the outcome is awesome.

I have the Coverking genuine Neoprene covers all around and they are awesome. I prefer it over leather personally. Mine have been holding up well for nearly a year and a half

Fia Wrangler in black. Just got some for the 18. They look and feel amazing! Also have the fia oe for the 2014. They are beautiful as well. I'll take pics after I'm back from South East Asia.

If I'm paying that much for seat covers I'll pay the upholstery shop to put them on for me. ;)

I just did a full Katskin Premium kit with perforated suede and deviated stitching. Absolutely love it!

Just found these on Amazon while shopping for Clazzios. Temporarily out of stock. $274 for complete set, PVC material. Hopefully will come back in stock...Kirk Out

EDIT: wow, just saw those Bartact covers. Really like them! Price is ok for me because I only need front seats. I have a dog cover for the rear seats...

I ride moto and mountain bikes a lot, how do the clazzios hold up to sweat? I imagine i'd need to lay a towel down before each time.
