Would have grabbed you one had I seen this while there. I think it was like 109 bucks. But only the 2 mil short sleeve type. I ended up going back to Santa Ana outlet and grabbed a zipperless short sleeve 2 mil for 180

 

How do you know the surf is truly bad without being down there yourself? Check the HB Pier SS cam, if not a soul is in the water there's your answer

 

Eh, if there is swell in the water I will paddle out regardless of how crappy the conditions are. Windy but if there was energy like yesterday I bet there are some corners

 

I'm hoping there will be something tomorrow. Going to get down to HB around 9 when shops open and hope I can find a place that has a Fever in 6'3 and then wax it up and take er out

I was just watching the HB south pier can. Few corners look fun. Should have gone down earlier but stayed out too late. Heading down shortly. Gonna hit frog house first and then HSS and hopefully they have a board I’m lookin for. Or maybe I’ll just surf for a bit first and then go search. It’s sposed to get worse throughout the day

 

Froghouse is where my money goes for the most part, why not look at getting a custom? Frankie at thread is in Costa Mesa and makes some sick boards. My custom was in my hands at the 2.5-3 week mark and prices are very competitive.

Jesus fuck it is packed down here. Trying to surf the jetties and brookhurdt entrance is closed so you can only get in off magnolia and the line to get in is insanely long.... guess I’m not surfing there

 

Fuck Huntington. Why have 3 fucking entrances to the state beach if all but 1 are closed

I have stuff to do this morning so it was get up at 5 to drive 45 minutes and surf then go back home or sleep in haha. I chose the second.

 

I just got to RJs finally. Looks mushy but could be fun. I drove all the way down here I’m gonna at least paddle out

 

Fun sesh at RJs. Jumbly, choppy, little windy. But had some good little peaks. No board today. Couldn’t find my size ripcurl is going to call their rep for me though
