ok guys I recently aquired an 02 ex-cab TRD 4x4 and it has an oil leak. I am just starting to clean the underneath and engine bay so I can locate the leak.
My question is are there any “ comon” leaks that occur on these truck that I should look at first ?
Thanks in advance for any pointers !

My first concern with any oil leak is the oil pressure switch, if it blows it lets out the entire sump in seconds, pay close attention to it.

Most commonly I've found is valve cover gaskets, crank shaft and cam seals (behind timing cover) and oil pressure switches.

Valve cover gaskets and cam seals. Like mentioned keep an eye on the pressure switch.
