I bought it on AppleTV for not much more than the rental fee.

We watched it this past weekend and both really enjoyed it.

I fell asleep at some point....wife woke me up after it was over and said that I needed to seriously get back into over a pot of coffee the next morning. I did. Wound up watching it twice.

    Cool flick. Great action scenes.

While the actual movie kinda sucked and left me a bit lost, the low frequency assault was impressive.

I actually really liked that movie. Just watched it the other night reluctantly because I hate HATE horror movies but this one had been highly recommended to me. It really was lacking all aspects of a typical horror movie and was more so an invasion/viral outbreak/action movie much like I am Legend. There were a few things wrong with the story that should've been different (
Dad didn't need to die to save the children in the truck. He easily could've caused a distraction elsewhere to allow them to get down the hill. The daughter also should've realized her hearing aids were a weakness to the creature sooner than she did and used it to help her Dad get back to them and they all could've rolled down the hill together. Also a bigger plot hole. They should've just moved to the waterfall to live full-time where noise wasn't an issue
) but I really like where it ended and the potential for a sequel looked promising. Also Emily Blunt :drool::drool:

    Also
Obviously sound is going to be a weakness when the primary sense is hearing. Plus how easy would it be to set a noise trap inside a recycling shredder used on cars
