What was the base color? There was a guy around here a few years ago that put one on craigslist after he'd finished restoring it and I never saw it again.

 

You guys got bad stuff? It's sunny and shiny here in Western MA. Supposed to get storms later but so far its a beautiful day.

I think that's the exact same drill that I have.

Wish I had gotten a hammer one now, but there have only been a couple times where I would have needed it.

Normally I hate stacks, but that's one of the rare trucks that I think they actually look good on.

I’ve seen that truck at so many cars shows back in the day.

 

They had that for quite a while too. I'd say 8 - 10 years. Always looked cool to me

 

The Warlocks were nice too.

 

I did always prefer the Warlocks, because you could get them in a 4x4 and they looked badass with the extra ground clearance.

 

I just painted the skids this weekend! There wasn't much rust, nothing a drill and wire wheel attachment couldn't solve! Although my old, half dead Dewalt drill couldn't handle it, so I borrowed a neighbors 18v Mikita, which made quick work of everything.

So pretty. I want one!

For sure. Go anywhere you wanted, any time you wanted. And get 10mpg while you were doing it, and your top speed was 55, lol. Still on my 'lottery' list, though.

My girlfriend is asking me about towing a trailer all the way down to Nashville in the truck. I explained how it is not a simple task to find a trailer that would work, the difference between dry and wet weight, and that I'd need to install a Trans Cooler and probably and ultra gauge. The truck probably has at least 600lbs on it over the usual GVWR and nothing to really change the GCVWR limit, and having to tow in 4th gear to avoid OD with all that extra weight would probably mean 8 or 9mpg for over a thousand miles...

Now she's looking at renting a moving truck or hiring a moving company haha

 

with all this cordless power tool talk, I am sure someone would be willing to test out their cordless battery powered drill, you know for science.
