Maybe one day I'll be joining you guys. The other half is looking at houses in the Spring Hill area.

Ehhh, I don't know any better, so I'll say yes lol. I lived in New Port Richey for 15yrs, but moved back to The Hill 5yrs ago and I love it, because of all the memories.

 

Spring Hill on the gulf coast is much better than the Spring Hill in west Volusia. Bad area. Very bad area. Like a anything-not-bolted-down-is-stolen-off-the-fire truck-when-parked kind of area.

 

The area code is 34609

 

Hahaha, yup 34609 is good. That's around the area of Spring Hill Dr and Barclay/Suncoast Pkwy. I'm in the 34608 lol

 

I'm curious. I know there's a lot of us...most of us in point of fact...that hate wheeling in mud and water. Ryan Wood and Kenny are the only ones I know that actually enjoy it.

The reason I'm asking is that @Key-Rei and I are kicking around a trip to Richloam. I know @Rattletrap66 will avoid the place like the plague after his last experience there, but how many others might consider it?

Hmm... While that's is a good price on those (after looking up what AP wants for them new ) I'm going to pass, I was thinking it might be a decent upgrade till I have the time to piece together and install 63's but that's not too far off the price of parts needed for the 63's. Just going to go that route and stay stock +AAL in the mean time.

Cool deal. One thing about Richloam is most of the water crossings are flowing water. If you park in them for a while, your axles and suspension will never be cleaner, haha. Do you know the area well?

That's a true fact. In the Citrus video where @Rattletrap66 was stuck in Billy's Hole and Wes couldn't pull him out and then the OGT pulled him out effortlessly...the above video is why. I had to pull him out dead stick due to a drowned engine. Frank's truck was like "Oh shit, that's the OGT hooked up to me! Either I'm coming out or something's coming off! I better just come out."

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Richloam for a 2WD even with a locker unless you were rocking 35" Swampers or better (you might get through a lot of it if you were running 16x35 Boggers on the rear, for instance).

At any rate, I'll see what I can put together. Definitely don't wanna be out there during hunting season. It's a dog hunting area and those guys are effin' insane the way they tear down those trails, plus it seems to be stupidly wet in the last half of the year (after storm season) if we're not in a drought.

 

I might be too, even though I hate mud. I want to scout it out for some Hog hunting later this year.

Depending on the date. I know Guy said he's tied up until June, which might be a decent month to go. It should be a little more wet than in the spring, but not inundated like it gets after storm season. I'll dig up the Richloam thread and tag you guys and we can figure out what works for everyone.
