Rear Winch Idea: Anyone Have Something Like This?

So I finally found an example of what I've been mocking up in my head for my 3rd gen. I recently purchased a universal winch mount from the hardware store an its just slightly too short to fit across our frame.

Conversely if the rear mount idea doesn't work I think I've got a way to rig it to my prerunner bumper.

 

Cradle mounted with a front receiver (Mobtown recovery bar). I can winch off either end with the same winch.

Yes get a portable winch to fit into 2" receiver and you can use it front or back (along with installing front 2" receiver) or use it on another vehicle and when you sell your truck you still have it. Also, you can have it in the bed of the truck or in the garage when not using and the winch isn't exposed to the elements.

Damn, I like that idea, unfortunately I've already got a front bumper and it won't work for me. Wish I would have seen that sooner.
