I'm in Texas, so we have similar topography and climate, and I always drive easy.

I've gone through tanks where I tried as hard as I can, but can't break the 20 barrier. The display on my dash regularly says 25-26MPG for a period of 30-50 miles, but when you hand calculate at the end of the tank, the story is always the same. My experience is exactly the same as the other Fuelly members with 6MT that I've drilled into. The manual transmission gets 17-19MPG, just like it says on the window sticker.

My final calculation at fill up comes pretty close to the dash average, my truck gets 20 but now that it's warming up will get 21.

Here's some real world data for you guys. None of this 20 miles trips coasting down a mountain crap. First pic is west bound on I-88/I80 using CC @70mph most of the way, there was about 40 miles of single lane 55mph construction. Second is east bound I-80 with CC @70mph 99% of the way. This truck works as advertised.
