    Behavior tip #1

Run until she won't run no more..

    IMG_20180507_181842.jpg

and change it up.. if you're bored by the routine, so is the pupper.

I can't really say much about behavior, mine likes chewing on strange dogs, but it's jist encouragement to get out into the sticks and explore..

Great picture, I've been thinking about getting a Newfoundland how's their demeanor around other dogs.

    He looks pretty mellow

This is a double fault. That dog owner, seeing it was a sub delivery carrier & obviously hesitant, should have leashed or put the pup away. I'm sure most dog attacks are preceded by the owner saying "don't worry they're harmless". It's not about the size or breed of the dog, it's about me not knowing that dog from Adam & whether it's my ankle or my face I don't want to get bit on the job by your dog. Mail carrier should've spoken up before going in the yard if she was scared, neither party is innocent.

Dozer decided he should crawl under the coffee table to try and get any scraps of food. I didn't get a good pic of him "hiding" under there and staring right at me

He is. We just got him as a rescue about a week ago. He is only 8 months old so he is still a puppy. Very curious and doesn't know many boundaries. Also a little clumsy and doesn't really know his own size. When he gets on his back legs, he is as tall or taller than me. He currently weighs 110lbs and is supposed to fill in to around 130. Way more mellow and relaxed than the Bernese though. Good luck on the search though, took us a few months to find one and had to travel halfway across the country to get him. I'd do it again in a heartbeat though.

Thanks for the info, I hear that they are kinda hard to find. I've had labs for 30 years, just have always liked Newfoundlands:cheers:

My next door neighbor at my old house actually commented to me one time. He said what do you always run over when you mow? I laughed and told him it was sticks from my lab. He found every single stick known to man. Put little piles all over the yard. I was constantly sharpening blades.

Its a absolute shi@thole where he is laying. So many chewed up stickes, toys, who knows what. As you can tell by the clumps of grass and untrimmed grass by the firepit we dont care to much about how it looks lol. Its pretty much his yard at this point

Not quite. They are both very hairy and get hot easily. Twas 80 here in the PNW when I took the pic. Tobi mostly says "Finley, you my bitch!" now.
