Been a while since I've been back home. If we can work it out on my day off I wouldn't mind coming over and helping out.

Was a decision ever made about if we were camping Saturday night and if so where?

 

Went back and checked, McKinney Falls was mentioned a few days ago. The reservation site says it's all booked up.
Anybody have any other suggestions?

These damn parks need to keep a few campsites held back for us procrastinators.

That's the bad thing about the limited availability (relatively speaking) of public land here... Can't just roll out and camp on a whim.

Free to Park in Lots B, C, and D and walk around
This money is a donation to a different sponsored charity each event.

Finally! We are at it again! After a brief hiatus and a few lessons learned after new management takeover, Cars & Coffee is back and bigger than EVER! The Cars and Coffee new management team has secured an amazing location for the event to be held going forward! This comeback is not without its requests though. The Cars and Coffee team specifically sought out our group due to our consistent and overwhelming presence at previous shows. We were always the first and always had bacon! Our community of Tacos and Tacos grew into a much more inclusive gathering of all Toyotas and we routinely had more than 30 participants in our group alone.


Cars and Coffee show runners are requesting some assistance in helping with the ebb and flow of traffic and sorting out parking sections. This is a request for volunteers only and not required. What we are looking for and to provide is a group of maybe 5 (subject to change based on how it goes) rolling volunteers to help direct traffic in and out of the Lots.


For the C&C vets in here, the incoming and exiting traffic situations have always been interesting. Being that this is now at COTA with much better ingress and egress points, this will be much better. The goal is to roll people through so that everyone has time to assist, wander, and eat bacon!


For anyone new, this gathering is a community effort that we all pitch in to supply various items for our group to make our day more enjoyable and full of bacon. A list of common items is as follows:

· Bacon
· Eggs
· Tortillas
· Cheese
· Salsa
· Coffee
· Water
· Sugar
· Cups
· Plates
· Plastic Ware
· Tables
· Chairs
· Cookers
· Trash receptacles and bags
· Really any food, utensils, snacks, drinks or random thing you can think of
· TTC SWAG

**As always, it is not expected for anyone to bring anything. Anything that is brought is greatly appreciated, but you are still allowed to partake in any of the snacks/tacos even if you can’t bring anything**

I will keep an updated list as best I can and track what is happening. Just tag me in a post or quote the main post and I’ll update as we go.

Post Cars & Coffee Meetup:

There will be something following C&C for us. There may be a quick opportunity to play in the COTA Offroad section followed by a convoy to Bastrop Trails to do some offroading. Will fill in details as they are provided.

 

We need someone who has enough room for a few trucks and lives close to COTA to step up and extend an invitation.

 

Still need more people for C&C! I'm sure there will be more that haven't chimed in, but we need to be there in force!

 

I told the wife we could probably fit a few tents out back . Not RTTs... can't drive around my backyard anymore

 

I have all of mine on the headliner, just gotta push and work the Velcro in there. It’ll stick.

 

18 people going but only 5 volunteers...

 

There is a place right next to COTA. Haywoods Hill or something like that.

Not sure if they stay open all the time or not.
Haven't called yet either.
