I own two canoes and a kayak. I have an old town discovery 17, and old Coleman canoe, and a 10ft pelican kayak.

Did a lot of damage to my Old Town on a recent trip down the stowaways river. Water was low and did a lot of scrapping anyone know if there is a way to resurface the hull

Thanks Steve! I'll definitely be investing in some more roll-top bags for my canoe adventures. I only have one right now and it's just not quite enough space. What kind of canoeing do you do, lake or river?

The Yakima landing pad 11 threads into the factory hard points and even includes the hardware. Coupled with the hitch extender I can now haul a canoe or lumber lol

    See pic above :)

Caught a mess of snakehead today. This was the biggest one, about 15 lbs. state record in MD is 18 currently, so I guess I’ve got to go back.

Lowly (almost) 3 lb channel cat, but perfect eatin’ size. Did a 6 mile float after work on Tuesday. Pulled off the water tired and hungry at about 10pm, but worth it.

If you don't mind, how much does that setup cost? I'm looking for a way to move my 15' canoe, and strapping it in my bed just isn't quite secure enough for my liking.

    Front setup:
    Yakima Landing pad 11 $50
Yakima skyline tower 2 pack $100
    Yakima round bar $50
Yakima round bar sl adaptor $30
I pulled the weatherstrip from roof ditch and cleaned paint/tape from center factory mount. Then I drilled/snipped wires in the weatherstrip, reinstalled, then attached landing pads using the longer bolts that came with them.

Back setup: I got an adjustable hitch ladder rack/bed extender $75
Plus a stowaway hitch tightener to keep it from rattling around $18
So about $320 and 2 hours install :)

Very satisfied with the setup after 500 miles of canoe hauling

That's not bad at all! I'll have to look into that a little more, I'm still exploring my options. Thanks for the feedback

    Just showing off my collection...

The only one missing from the lineup is my 18' aluminum Starcraft canoe.

Sadly I'm unable to do any whitewater this year though with a bad back but I should be back to 100% for next season.

Sadly I haven't been able to give any of my babies the attention they deserve. Next year though, as long as I don't end up needing surgery, L1 & L2 herniated disc's.

But sadly the "Aluminum Falcon" was missing from the show that day.

Almost bought one of these, but let is go due to the fact I was going to have to lose my cover. I am in the process of converting a utility trailer into a canoe/kayak trailer. Will post pics when done.
