This is a funny video of the dealership test driving my '98 Toyota SR5 4x4 as I was test driving my new '18 DCLB OR...Unfortunately, I didn't review the video until later that day and after taking delivery of my new truck. No worries, very happy with the deal.

That is me starting my test drive in the white Tacoma waiting at the stop light in the beginning of the video. Listen to the sales manager's comments as he drives around town.

That has to be the saddest looking Toyota dealer in the United States of America. Just driving buy it makes me think the coffee is old and the toilet has been ridden hard

OP you're not likely to get in any trouble especially because you aren't posting this out of malice, but this is totally illegal in CA as we are a "two party consent state".

To go by the law you have to have a written notice prominently displayed in your vehicle at all times.

Again you're probably ok but you could technically get charged under wiretapping laws just by posting this... gotta love laws lol

Isn’t it in public? There is no right to privacy in a public area.

What evidence or facts do you have that just because he’s on the land in the state of California...that the California constitution would even apply to him? Lol!

He’s lucky he lives in a state with a constitution; here in the peoples republic of Maryland its what the local party leader determines.

Seriously? it applies to you by virtue of setting foot there. You're in what's it's called CA's jurisdiction. Once you go back to Arkansas you can resume not worrying about California laws.

Yes, it used to drive me crazy, but I got used to it and now I kind of miss it LOL. My new Tacoma is an automatic.

Do the CA police with body cams have signs telling you that you’re being recorded? How about driving through every intersection with cameras? What about the millions of YouTube videos of people filming other people in CA?

    Two party? Yeah GTFOH!

He is absolutely correct when it comes to recording audio in CA. So, I will probably turn off the mic.

But, I would lose the entertainment value of my own captured road rage....
