That sounds pretty bad ass. Man if I could find a 3rd gen Taco body for my TRX-4, the Defender body would be history.

So I decided to pick up another project while I figure out how to mount the tacoma body now that the cage is attached. So I found a good deal and my revo needed a friend so I got another erevo it runs 6s but I only saw one battery left in it so I checked it once I got home and here was the "mod" to make it run on a single 2s. And here it is

    Lol wtf?

Good pick up. I like Erevos. Was considering downsizing my fleet and selling both of my Erevos, but sorta talked myself out of it. They are fun trucks.

All I can say about that is WOW! I'm surprised you were able to keep the factory installed smoke in that battery after seeing that "mod".

I did the same after I put batteries back in it and remembered how fun it was

I won't get mad if anyone steals this high end mod idea just make sure to post pictures of the damage :D

The AE truck is apparently the Thunder Tiger Hilux from last year. Although a few improvements have been made it’s still a viable option for a ‘scale’ crawler.

It's a good start but it needs upgrades for sure. Those plastic toy grade gears don't look like they may last long also there are no bearings supporting them. Most of the hardware doesn't look to be what you would expect from a crawler. I would consider one for sure because it be small enough to tuck under the narrow tacoma body.

It’s powered by a 380-390 motor so the power is not like running a 540. For its size I think the smaller motor and plastic gears would suffice though. I’m still running plastic gears in all of my Axial products: 2 Wraiths and a Bomber and the Bomber has a large 1/8 brushless.

That's true it doesn't need much with the little motor

That's cool though. Are you in a Sportsman class or is it a Slash spec class?
