    Hi Folks,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm a man of wealth and taste. Not really, but it doesn't hurt to lie, cheat and steal my way into your hearts. Here's a picture of my first new vehicle. Yes, I finally got one at the youthful age of 58. I got it in October of '16 after 2.5 months of driving the local dealerships crazy with test drives, etc. I test drove nine of them, two of those twice. My drives were long and I spent a lot of time sitting in them on the lot. I took pictures of them all and spent hours looking at them. When I finally decided what I wanted, I found one that was on its way to a dealer, locked it in, and took delivery the morning after it arrived. It had two miles on it. I drove it straight home and changed the oil. Then I broke it in by driving ultra slow, mostly on paved back roads at night. I still have trouble believing the police didn't stop me for doing 15 to 25 MPH in 55 MPH zones. They probably figured I was too crazy to mess with. I didn't start easing into my normal laid-back driving habits until it had over 25K on it, and eventually found courage in the strength of God to give it some gas after 30K. It has about 51k on it now, and I love it to death. I want to be buried alive in it with my favorite guitar and amp plugged into the converter outlet. I just know that if any vehicle could get me out of Hell in one piece, this is it.

We rented here until last August. The '98 has just over 300k on it. It's my girlfriend's daily driver. The Ford got sold to someone who is doing a fantastic job updating it. I bought it from the original owner in Wyoming in September of '90. I lived off grid there and in Oregon for about ten years, cutting wood, trapping and hunting. I had some great times in the Ford.
