Changed my front brakes and installed a K&N air filter.

 

Me and the lady fabbed up some bed stiffners today. Gonna bed liner them tommorow/ whenever it's not raining. Reasons why I didn't buy a set
1) I'm kinda cheap, especially when I think I can diy it.
2) i had a couple hours of spare time.
3) to prove that my gold pile (scrap/cut off pile) isn't junk!...
4) and most importantly it's another step towards the eventual "built not bought" sticker lol.
Just as I was cleaning my tools up the "nosey neighbor" felt the need to remind me that I lost about a subway foot long worth of bed space. Like most with a short box I didn't buy it for the bed space!

 

Good job man. Nosey neighbor tacoma envy. I have that too. We should start a thread.

Always wondered wtf that thing was....

 

Drove it to work and back a few times. On one trip back to work I had a fresh off the lot black taco in front of me, and a another 3rd gen cement grey trd sport in the lane next to me.

 

Some DIY bedslide progress....









I need to tweak the width of the track just a hair. Its about 1/8" too wide to fit flat between the wheel wells.

Once thats done, I can sort out the mounts to attach the track to the bed floor...

 

Relentless. Little car crew cofounded with my buddies-- mainly lowered imports but I still wanted to represent on the truck. Found it cool there's Relentless Fabrication around, had been contemplating running their armor haha.

 

Finally got around to working on the truck some more for the first time in 6+ months... started work on my new back seat system, oh and cleaned the horrible headlights...

 

Oh yeah, it drives me nuts. He bought a brand new 07 back in the day had it like 2 months and drove it off a cliff, now Everytime he sees me wrenching on one of the rigs, especially on my Tacoma he's gotta come tell me what I'm doing wrong, at least til I throw a tantrum and tools start flying lol
