Hey buddy how much did those mats cost? The rear mat seems really good as I'm really picky to cover the raised middle part!
    Thanks

Haven't done much to my 3rd Gen Taco today....other than to wash it and get off the mud that I got all over it yesterday morning.

Also washed the wife's '18 Rav4. It's some type of pearl white and I swear that it's way more trouble to keep clean the my black truck....which is completely contrary to my prior experience with my back GT stang and white K1500. I hate her color choice.

    Bamsucka !!!!

    Redline showed up today.

Hardcore rivet gun should be here next week just in time for next weekend's under the hood fun !!!!

I need to get a better look at this spoiler thing.

At first I was assuming it was a total bolt on replacement for the trim piece on the top of the tailgate.

Sounds like it's more of an adhesive-backed piece that sticks to the factory piece.

I need to go back and look at your pic again.

Thanks.....many of the next few mods I have planned involve some time under the hood. These struts will get some werkouts during said mods.

I'm a hyooge fan of the Ray10's....bronze for MGM & Black Tacos.

I think you did great on those Methods. Your truck looks great.

When does the rub occur ???

Yeah. Mount is included. It is plastic, but the extinguisher is super light. No screws included. I used self tapping metal screws, but pre -drilled with a smaller drill bit just to make it easy.

There is a hole in the metal. Just feel around and stay away from it. That is why it isn't centered, but instead is more towards the door.

Absolutely wrong. Their buy price from the manufacturer was raised above what their selling price was which justifies a cost increase to us. At least that's what they told me and I have no reason to doubt them.

Not going to happen. If you had read my previous messages, they are a sole sourced distributor as I understand it. Do you understand what that is?

That punishes the manufacture and distributor for your personal vendetta. If you can convince folks to follow you, you've got my encouragement since that is what Freedom is all about.

What injustice? Who was wronged? You got a great deal on a product you like. That's fantastic and I'm happy for you. If others are willing to pay the new price or reduced group buy price, that is between the seller and the buyer and has nothing to do with you. And I don't know if their story is bs or not, but as stated, I have no reason to doubt them other than your complaints about a mythical injustice that hasn't occurred.

Look, if widget X is made by the manufacturer and sold to a distributor for $1 this month, the distributor can sell it for $2. However, if the manufacturer raises their price and sells it to the distributor for $3 the next month, your point is the distributor should buy it at $3 and then sell at $2 because everyone who didn't get a chance to buy it at $2 got ripped off on a purchase they didn't even make.

And before you spout off about what do I know about running a business, I’ve owned a restaurant, my dad owned a bar, my mom ran a restaurant, my wife’s family are all business owners too. I've been around it my entire life.

Your stead fast hatred of this company is stemming from somewhere and I'm curious as to the root cause. Is the real reason you're so upset is because the folks you've told about your $160 price have come back to you and said something about the $229 and you think that is making you look bad?

Regardless, just let it go so the rest of us can focus on potential savings based on whet they tell me on Monday.

LOL - He'll get it someday, just like when the light bulb goes off about Tacoma = Taco. That was an enlightening moment for me I'll admit and when it did, the my wife started using the term too.

Okay. Self tapping screws are great. For my Maglite I used the screws that came with it and no need for pilot holes. Installed for the 3cell but looks like there’s plenty of room for a 4cell. Thanks again for the info.90FCFAD6-A0C2-4FF4-B2C6-83CB52441E4B.jpg

Heavy Duty long handled two hand type pop riveter made by Pittsburgh Tool. $19.99 at Harbour Freight. By no means a top of the line tool but for 20 bucks and a whole lot more leverage than my Matco standard one hand pop rivet tool it's worth buying even if it's for this one job.
