Thanks man! They are the oem 2nd gen running boards. They say they don’t fit the 3rd gen, but they bolt right up. Half the price of the aluminum ones for the 3rd gen also. Plus I think they look better.

    On Amazon.
There are different styles like all aluminum. I bought originally 11 mos. ago for a trip out west, Moab etc. last June. Wanted something we could eat on anywhere and not depend on park tables etc.
Also a great umbrella, light, super durable, help up on many really windy Gulf Coast days, and big that I have used with this table and on many, many beach volleyball tournaments over the last 4 years, beats 3 other umbrellas I had like from Academy:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003DJ4FEM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The table, temp wise, wood is cooler to sit on. Plus it’s doesnt dent etc.
I was figuring when I purchased it I would put another coat of urethane on it since typically stuff like this has a thin coat that doesn’t last. But....after getting it and checking it out....it has more than enough. Even still looks brand new. I’m 6’3” and 220 lbs., it’s plenty sturdy.
I will say that I do go easy on it, don’t abuse it it kinda handling thing. Even if it did bust I would get another one. It’s ridiculously portable and a huge space saver.

I have the same, going on 2 1/2 years. Bought off Amazon. It did say that these would not fit, but they bolt right up in the 2016/2017 holes.

Not much, but added a tailgate graphic I ordered from @CBoy808 and also the reflective "Tacoma" inserts from @rrentrop

I have some additional custom bedside replacement decals from Cboy808 that I hope to get done in the next couple weeks.

Plastic cover on top of a metal plate. Extremely durable. Mine look great after 2 1/2 years. I also put a coat of acrylic floor liquid on both the running boards and my mud flaps. Keeps them satin shiny and repels dirt, mud etc. better than any of those auto vinyl coatings etc. lasts about 6-7 months too.
Added pics of driver side running board I just took pics of a few minutes ago.
