The noise appears to be coming from the dash area. It lasts a short time then comes back. Does anyone have this issue?

I have narrowed down to where the sound is coming from. It is coming from the air conditioning unit. I live in Sacramento and work in Fresno. I drove that distance today with no radio and no air conditioning. There was no high pitched noise. Now to Toyota Service to find out what they intend on doing.
