I think I have a wheel bearing going out. I have a 2012 OR with 130,000 miles on it. I’m getting a vibration in the steering wheel st around 60mph. Worse on curves to the right. Feels like the left front wheel. Any ideas?

Jack it up and see if there is play in the wheel?

jack the front up so both wheels are off the ground, and wiggle the wheel back and forth. if there is no play spin the tire and see if you hear any grinding. if there is play in the wheel make sure you check other things that will cause that such as inner and outer tie rods, lower and upper control arms with the ball joints, and a shitty axle

You mention vibration, but what about noise? Seems to me a bad wheel bearing would be talking to you.

Could also be a tire with a broken belt. When you spin the tires, look for a bulge in the tread. Easiest to watch the distance between the tread and the ground while spinning.

Yeah, noise changes in a turn is a dead giveaway. If you jack it up and can wiggle top to bottom it's definitely gone

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
I just replaced both of mine with less than 70K miles. Initially thought it was the driver’s side. Vibration would go away on long right curves.

Changed drivers wheel bearing and needle bearing but vibration was still there. The vibration would get worse around 50mph, enough to vibrate the keys in my ignition.

I replaced the passengers and the vibration went away. No extra play or grinding on either side with wheels off the ground. The bad bearing did have a dead spot in it where it would bind when spun freely once removed.
