Here's a WTF. We just had the fourth pedestrian this year killed while trying to cross the highway in the middle of the city.

WITAF? STOP TRYING TO WALK CROSS THE INTERSTATE IN TRAFFIC! Especially IH-35. It ain't a school zone, and they ain't slowing down.

In every case, there was a bridge nearby where they could have crossed safely but chose not to. Unless this was intentional "suicide by semi" there's never any reason for anyone to try to run across the highway.

Reminds me of what last year or two ago, the couple that lost a child to a gator down in Florida... Little diff but still, I wouldn't let my child near water in Florida... If I'm not mistaken there were signs warning of potential gators.(I may be wrong), but still, it's Florida, the land of gators, huge Snakes, and freaks of nature.
