    Hi All,

    Question for the day:

    If I run 17x8.5 (+0 or -10mm offset) w/ 285/70/17 (aka 33s) on 2.5"-3" LIFT all around

Will this setup require cab chop? or will it clear even at full lock?

Please post pictures if you running this setup.

    thanks!

    Im running 285/75/17 17x8.5

With 4” Lift in the front it rubbed like a mother you would need a lot of cutting my tire hit the frame so instead I went up 2 more inches I also have 1.5” off offset from my Lift spindle aswell

get camber as close to 4* as possible then see where it rubs, start trimming/cmc/pinch weld foldover etc...

I agree above. Already did the CMC, then aligned after a wheeling trip. They put to stock and HORRIBLE rub... Got er redone to 4* and all good 99% of the time

So how do you drive and not worry lol, I’d always be on pins and needles...that’s can’t be good for anything especially your tires...

Only hits the cab mount at full lock. I cut out all the plastic that was causing the loud noises. I also just don’t care lol

CMC is your friend. Even if you don't rub with proper alignment you will start rubbing. Plus you need adjustable UCAS to get your alignment tweaked.
