Simple question that i want clarified. i have 2.5 blocks in the rear on stock 4600 Belstiens or whatever they are. Do I need to jack up my truck or will the leaf springs support the weight of the truck while i'm changing out the rear shocks?

The leaf springs are the ONLY things holding the weight of the truck.
No need to jack it up to just change the rear shocks.

I changed out my rear shocks with the tires still on the ground, no need to lift the truck.

That said....with that much rear lift don't you need longer shocks? Those 4600s are for stock height and will blow out with that kind of lift I would think.

I have a 3 inch spacers in the front on stock 4600. Which they seem to ride fine but I will be replacing soon. The rears were the stock 4600 but i have 2.5 inch blocks on the rear which extended the stock shocks to the max making for an extremely hard ride. I was able to replace the rear shocks without a jack and omg is it a night and day difference! The 5100 are so much better and are made for lifted trucks. Think i'm going to get rid of the front spacers and do the belstein 3" coilovers with the emu springs for the front.
