    Hello all,

I am in the process of replacing my CV's on my 2006 double cab and ran into an issue.
I ended up choosing the Oreilly auto parts "new" Import Direct Brand (lifetime warranty). After I get them torn down and ready to install my shaft I realize that my long travel extended shaft is bigger than the inner CV. If I hold the two shafts end to end, my extended shaft is bigger around than the "new one" and my shaft will not fit.

I have scoured the web (and this message board) for the past 24 hours and am unable to find any details about this.

So, can anyone with experience share with me their aftermarket part #'s that worked?

I am really hoping I can just take these new ones back and goto AutoZone or somewhere else and get some that will fit my shaft.

    Additionally, her are some links:
The part that does NOT work from Oreilly's: I am looking specifically for part numbers I can buy today from a local retailer(napa, autozone, advance, etc..)

Most of the aftermarket CVs won’t work. I think some guys are hit and miss with NAPA. Best way is getting a used set from local junk yard.
