Morpace truck survey- anyone ever do one of these?

I just got this in the mail, anyone ever do one of these, is this legit or am I just opening myself up for a bunch of spam? I’ve never heard of the company “Morpace”.

I just did it, only info it asked from me is my email address, says I’ll recieve the Amazon code in 4 weeks- that seems sketch that it isn’t instant.

They only asked about vehicle speeds driven including how many miles per year, what percentage on different road types including off road and what percentage towing. No question about features, but did have a list of off road type upgrades and asked if I added any of those aftermarket, and how much I’ve spend on aftermarket equipment.

Just curious if anyone else got this and if so if they actually ever got the Amazon code.

A few recent reviews on their FaceBook page suggest they collect your data and then, after wasting your time, tell you you're "screened out" or "survey full". No thanks.

Got one here in VA. As far as I can tell, they are a marketing firm that is contracted to do these types of surveys. I went ahead and did it, we will see what comes of it.

Guys on the coloradofans forum getting these as well. Does not appear to be manufacturer specific.

I keep a couple of 'disposable' email addys to use for just this type of thing. Or where an email submission is required to sign on to a free Wifi, etc.

If all I get is spam, it's captured and trashed. If the acct gets hacked/replicated in some way, I close it.

Keeps my primary account clear.

Just a thought.

 

+1 to this. I keep my gmail my primary and give potential spam my hotmail account. Literally never log in to that one.

Didn't get one...I am unwanted, unimportant.....nobody likes me...

 

They have been around for a long time, usually they have quotas on the number of gifts given out but should let you know before taking the survey if you qualify.
