Show me what aftermarket headlights you're running!

Alright guys sorry if there's a thread on this but the mobile search feature on taco world wasn't working for me. Anyways my 06 still has the OG headlights and I've been keeping them alive and clear using the turtle wax kit. I've decided it's about time to upgrade to some aftermarket headlights/housing. So throw me what you got because I'd love to see what the community is running and how they feel about it. All info Is appreciated!

Do they make a version that fits the 06 headlight style??

 

I got both of these off Amazon. Just a heads up. Reseal them where the body and lens meet.

That's what they have for the '05 - '11. Little different but same idea.

I got these from some company a while back. My stock ones were faded and fogged to hell and I couldn't get them cleaned up good enough. They were supposedly certified by a bunch of BS according to my dad who handles auto stuff. One certification is that it won't rainforest, but one side still doesn't it from time to time. The clear protectant on the clear plastic is chipping off a lot so I do not know how much longer they are going to hold up to fading. On the plus side they are a little bit smoked. Definitely switching to tacomabeat once I start working on lighting mods for my truck.

 

I feel it's fine. I got some Philip's H9 bulbs and replaced the ones that came with it.

 

Last time I tried aftermarket headlights, it was an epic fail in light output. I want to make sure they have at least the same as factory.

 

What would be the most economic but most efficient headlight to put on my 3rd Gen street truck?

 

I’ve been looking at these trying to decide which aftermarket I want to go with. I’m in Wisconsin same type of weather as you,how are these doing in the cold,snow and rain?

 

I put them on around February. So far they have been 100% moisture and trouble free. TacomaBeast does have a nice 1 year warranty on these so if they give you problems you can get it resolved.
