Order it and wait for it to come in. That’s what I did so I could get exactly what I want. Mine was produced a few days after I ordered it and my dealer took the allocation from another dealer. I waited 6 weeks but was exactly what I wanted. Quicksand MT with premium and tech package.

Negotiate for that! 650 on a $35K+ truck isn't a deal breaker for the dealer. Worst they can do is refuse.

If you really want the premium I would hold out and wait. I got a 17 OR DCSB earlier this January for 32K and 0.9% financing. Only has tow package on it no tech or premium, I can live without the sunroof and JBL and sensors but I find myself wanting leather and heated seats the most. I didnt want to wait for one when I was buying because really who can say they got a 17 OR for 32K and less then 1% of interest. I am however buying a heated seat install kit and a member on here sells katzkin leather that I can put on myself or I'll cough up the dough to get it installed. With the seats and new switch panel and heat kit I'm at around 2k for "Premium to me" features.

Just a run down before you got all out.

You prolly paid the right price. My 16 was 32K loaded OTD was 35K. That was when there were none of these on the lots anywhere (Sept 2015).

OP get the truck. If you wife likes it and thats what SHE wants, save yourself a shit ton of drama. What would happen if you got another truck YOU wanted and then there was issues with it.. Can you imagine... fuck prolly never hear the end of it. Nag nag nag. That would suck. Go with women are smarter, problems solved.

    It's a nice truck. Get a Pro grill ....

Where are you? Did you check Toyota's inventory site? That's how I found mine. Just start sticking in zip codes further and further out until you find it. Mine was 360 miles from me, but it was what I wanted, so I called and made a deposit over the phone, then flew down when it arrived. The inventory site has vehicles that have not arrived at the dealer yet, so you might get lucky and find what you want is arriving in a couple weeks. A lot of times dealers won't tell you that because they want you to buy what they have (or can quickly get).

Just make sure you sit in a truck with a sunroof. I don't know why I didn't catch onto this during the overnight test drive. Too much excitement with the new truck, I guess. But the sunroof robs a ton of headroom. My hair touches the roof. Not a dealbreaker, but if I were to do it again, I would forego the sunroof/premium pkg.

I would test drive one with the premium package 1st. I didn't like the sunroof with the headliner so low. Kinda kills the head room depending on how tall you are. Also the leather seats are super nice but pretty firm. I found the cloth seats to be more comfortable

Did seem like a good price tho!

After 2 hours of haggling with the sales manager I finally made a deal. They dropped the doc fee and the glass etching fee. Will be driving it home in a few minutes. Thanks for everyone’s help.0D174D55-FECD-4C38-B923-95D5EF8FCC84.jpg

I quoted my wifes 2018 4runner for Katzkin leather and its $800 then around another $300 for a shop to install them. My dealer wanted $1600 total install for Katzhin...

Why do you feel the need to ask that instead of answering the OP’s question...or not and moving onto something you can provide valuable input on?

    Congratulations
    She is a beauty!
I was in the same situation, looking for a cement tech/premium. After months with no positive feedback on locating one from the local dealers I ended up settling for just the tech package and having the Katskins w/ heat put in.
Could not be happier. The moonroof and dual climate control is not missed.
Ended up spending less, which in the end was a good thing.
My opinion is the katskins are nicer than factory leather but all depends on what you like.
    Enjoy your new truck!

Same situation as me. The dealer has a local outfit that will install the katzkin for $1,500. I’ll source it myself later and look for better deal. Saving a few bucks is always good.

How tall are you... moon roof lowers the head an inch or two. Do you want the moon roof and 'premium' sound system and leather.... then look....if the color is the ticket...buy it and do some adds.
