First Tacoma.....first Toyota

    Over the weekend I acquired a 1997 Tacoma SX. Std cab, 4wd, 2.7L, stick. Third owner. Amazingly the truck only has 47,068 miles. The original owner would not take it in for the recall and it has the usual back half problems......rust and frame rot. The interior and body are in excellent condition...other than one big bruise on the drive side door from owner #2. Brake lines broke and he coasted backwards into something.

    The plans are to rehab the rear frame and use it as a general run around truck.
