What’s the trick to split this bigger oil pan off the bottom of the block?

 

Sometimes they'll give you a spot for a pry-bar. A sharp putty knife and a hammer should get you started.

I assume all the bolts are out and the silicone is holding it together?

 

You are correct

 

Start at the corners with the putty knife. Tap it in and gently pry. Then move up to something thicker like a screwdriver. Smack it upward from the side with a rubber mallet or a dead-blow hammer

 

Bolts are out and have been using a pry bar and a long flat head screw driver.

 

Got the two bolts out from inside the lower oil pan as well?

Then gently with a large prybar or smooth screw drivers.

 

About a 1/4 is lose(lh side) still tight back by the clutch

 

Chain no belt.

 

Two inside? I got one 12mm inside and two 10 up under the clutch. Is there another one in side I missed?

 

Keep prying, you'll find out! LOL

 

There is always a hidden bolt.

I believe that is how the math works... not that the internet is always right, but here is a torque calculator:

150lbs X 4ft= 600 ft lbs

 

Should be two 12mm inside.

 

I will look again. I got the one one the right side. I thought the two 10 up top by the clutch was holding it in. I will find that missing bolt!!
