Everyone at y office already thinks I'm crazy. Went full special and finally wore my Ultra belt buckle. Had to get a belt specifically made for belt buckle, which I didn't even know was a thing. IMG_20180522_065158710.jpg 15269979006421195975602.jpg

hahaha, I'll second that. A 2018 in the "lead foot" color.

I couldn't justify the price of a Lariat, and honestly some of the options were things I didn't want, like leather and the keyless start.

But I'd really like an 8" cluster out of one, the transfer case and associated stuff to give me auto 4x4, and the body-colored grille and mirrors.

I found a site that sells complete kits to upgrade to the 8" touch screen and damn it's pricey! I think $1,800 for the conversion.

There's a guy on the F-150 forum that pulls them from wrecked trucks, programs the mileage to match your truck, and puts new plastic on if you want. I think he asks around $600, which was still too much for me to justify it.

EDIT--read that wrong. I already have the 8" touch screen. I'm talking about the dash screen. I have the smaller one:

I have the smaller dash screen, which I'm fine with. I just didn't want the basic, XL version because it looks like it's from the 80's. I'm generally fine with the smaller radio display also, but if I come across a good deal to swap out to the 8" touch screen, I'd jump on it.

Mhmm Killington. Start doing the stairmaster with a weight vest at the max sustainable speed for as long as possible. Or do steep hikes with weight. There's very little running. Very much climbing as quickly as you can. It's brutal but it's such an awesome course and when you get to the summit the views are awesome.

O, and the swim is...fun. expect all the cramps in that freezing water in addition to your balls shrinking up into your throat

Damn, won't work for me this year. Have 3 weddings 3 weeks in a row. Other weekend we already have plans for something.

This year it looks like I'm just doing two tough mudder fulls, Boston and Hudson Valley. Lot of the races in this area didn't work out well for me scheduling wise this year.
Next year I'm hoping to do Toughest Mudder (5 mile loops from midnight to 8AM). I'm going to get into the spartans next year too. Do at least a beast or two.
