What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

It looks like removing the door panel isn't too complicated, though I hate dealing with all the electrical controls. Did you have any issues or was it fairly easy to get to the speakers?

Also, I like the plastic adapters, but I'd be worried about rattles. I'm wondering if a composite wood might be better to contain vibrations. Just something I've learned from building home speakers. Hard materials tend to transmit a lot of vibration.

 

Once you remove the door panel the speakers are right there. No rattle from the adapters - hardly any surface area to them anyway.

 

My thoughts exactly.

 

I put a bead of silicone between adapter and door and adapter and speaker.

Finally got around to getting my @amirak decals installed last night. My advice: 1 - Have a solid (1-2 hours) amount of interruption free time. 2 - Follow the instructions provided on the JupiterOnEarth site. 3 - Be Patient (hardest part).

I got my Taco Dirty this weekend and I liked it

 

We charge $4,000 to powder coat Pelfreybilt bumpers.....

Just for future reference, we could have easily shaved 20lbs off the weight of our bumper and put the plug behind the plate if you would have asked.
