What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Can you put the pop lock on your truck using your camera that came with truck or do you have to change the back up camera too?

 

Really? I wished I would have known that. Never thought to ask as usually when you ask for something custom, the cost is even more

 

We're a small place that does all in house manufacturing unlike most. To change something minor like that does not add cost on our end.

Yea. As Joe said, somethings are pretty easy. Our's is heavier cause we run the hitch tube across the full length of the bumper so stiffen the whole thing. Most other bumpers only have the hitch tube run between the frame mount plates. But we could easily make it shorter to be nearly identical to the bumper you purchased.

HERE) and it's worked wonders on just the side mirror black mounting surface, and door handles - even after washing the truck multiple times, they've kept their darkness.

Lately I've been eyeballing the powder coated fade on my front bumper (2-3 years old) so I figured, why the hell not... well it worked out pretty well I'd say:







I completed the job and wiped away any excess with a dry rag.






Then I hit the roof weatherstripping mounts with the dirty trim restorer soaked rags for the heck of it

 

It's nit picky and would probably warrant a chuckle from someone who didn't own a Tacoma... but I know it'll catch the eye & attention from a few of you degenerates just as it did mine

Let me check and get back with you on parts. I ordered this stuff a couple months ago and just getting around to doing it. Yours will be cheaper than mine. You will not have to buy every little thing as I have extra.

 

It's all about the little details I've been using back to black on all my plastic trim and it's a must-do step whenever I wash the truck.

 

It was eye opening, like I thought the truck looked good with the color scheme & black... but after re-darkening the trim and bumper I'm like ooo la la

Pick up a camburg LT kit and they finally delivered my fiberglass fenders

 

This happened to my father in-law's 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe a couple years back. Part of the belt actually got sucked in and ended up causing enough damage that the motor seized up. After a serious amount of investigation, the mechanic ended up determining that the cause for the seized engine started with the belt coming through the crankshaft seal. You can't make that shit up.
