Most haven’t locked their steering yet in all directions. Offset/BS, tires, and driving habits make a difference.

If you move outside of the manufacturer’s specs, be prepared to legitimately mod your vehicle.

As always, post more pics :D

2015 - 285/75/16 - if I hold the steering wheel locked, it rubs...barely. Let loose and it doesn't rub. Now I am sure that if I am rock crawling, it would rub while turned. But haven't tried.

I currently have some Toyo at2 265/70/17s on the fan fx pro wheels...

Recently put in the new ome bp-51s and dakar leafs getting 2.25 inches of lift all around.

I've been super happy with the toyos and am looking at my next set...

Either gonna end up going with a 255 or a 285 in the 32-33 range...

Whats the rubbing situation looking like with the 285 toto at2? Looking at the 285 70 17s

Since the front mud flaps has to be removed with CMC, are most of you guys also removing the rear mud flaps?

You are running the stock OR wheels right? No wheel spacers or anything and you are not rubbing on your UCA?

2017 Tacoma OR 4X4, Stock wheels, Dick Cepek Extreme Country 285/75/16, Spidertrax 1.25" on all four corners, stock suspension. I do not recommend this. I am installing the Billy 5100's ASAP and getting a heat gun to it, on flat surfaces it wont rub but once I articulate the suspension at all it's probably going to rub up front on plastic when close to full turn. Probably 1/2" of clearance as is when turning.

So 2" is kind of the minimum to fit a 285/70/17 without rubbing?

Its amazing what a deference tires can do to a stock truck! Looks great.

Did you try to fit those tires without the 1.25" wheel spacer? I've heard that sometimes the spacer can make the rubbing worse in places. Also are you rubbing the cab mount at all or just the plastic?

I'm pretty sure that without the spacers he would be rubbing the UCA.
