Any plans on rigid mounts? Love to hear your ideas if you do.
I'm partial to the look of the steel GI type cans but the plastic are virtually indestructible and in most cases just make more sense. No dents, no rust, zero maintenance.

I made the mount in the quoted post for almost nothing. It's held together pretty well so far, including 2-3 trips off road and ~10,000 miles commuting.

Been through a lot of battery brands over the years. I typically don't see more than 3 years out of one, no matter who makes it. Daily driver cars, variety of models. AZ eats batteries like tic tacs.

Maybe i'm the minority here, but i prefer putting my money into our home...
Ill mod the truck one bit at a time. Plus it typically costs twice as much to mod these in Canada.

Got my Switch Pros 9100 and Anytime rear/front camera setup in the mail, today. The instructions on the camera system are making my brain swell. I've read through everything on this forum I can find, and still don't understand some of the wiring.

The SP looks to be pretty simple for sure.

I'll tell you why we bad mouth them and that is because they are out to only make a buck off the guys who don't know Sh*&. I have learned my lesson and check everything after they have done the job that they are supposed to do. Last time I went in there they get all friendly with you and tell you that we are going to take care of you and blow smoke up your A$$. I have learned to mark my tires, my oil filter and even my cabin filter and if they have all been touched I know they did their job. Last time I went in they had said that they were going to do a courtesy cabin air filter replacement, and guess what it was never changed. It is a simple job and a $5 part, so why do they make such a big deal out of changing it. Once my courtesy maintenance is up, I will be doing all my maintenance myself but for the time being I am going to keep them honest.

I really don't want to have to play the message game, but it may be my only chance. I was hoping to find a good install video, or shot of the completed wiring harness. Neither seem to be available. The best I found was the picture of the harness with 7 rolls of electrical tape wrapped around it, but that guy did some extra stuff...

that is a good bet as your home will always gain value and your truck will devalue with age. Still

Agree on the pricing. Between exchange rates and shipping (and certain Canadian manufacturers that price and sell in US dollars to Canadians) mods have to be well thought out.

    Nice shots of your Taco!

EDIT.... My Alberta plate has the same last 4 digits. Hilarious.
