Noticed a few pictures on my IG feed from expowest with taco owners removing wheels to show off their bolt on suspension upgrades. I bet you that you can find those same owners here at TW bashing on purpose built show trucks at car shows... It was a car show inside a tent city over the weekend..

I talked to those guys.

1. That truck has a currie rear end

2. They "build" trucks for someone to buy a complete package. Whomever gets one of their trucks not only will have all the bolt on mods, but they bought it pre-done like a "kit", creating another overlander with no clue about their own truck.

Anyone know if they make a headache rack or lumber rack that mounts to the rails and doesn’t bolt in. A friend just leased a 2018 sr5 and doesn’t want to bolt/drill anything. I am not sure they make that sort of thing but I thought I would ask.

I know Thule makes a bed rack with adjustable-height towers that mounts to the rails that could be used as a lumber rack.

That's a prerequisite for being an overlander.

 

The guy that owns that truck has a shop. He does a shock relocation, keeps SOA, then calls the rear long travel.
