Spent 45 min yesterday talking to a cust on why his transmission shifts the way it does.
Told him basically Toyota needs to pass mileage standards first. Then drivability. He says he doesn’t care about the mileage. So told him to try S mode and ect. So after all the bullshit he says. “So what are you going to do to fix it”?

    :annoyed::angrygirl::boom::facepalm::frusty:

    I said... NOTHING....

You have all the updates possible at this time.
    It is what it is..

I sad a few other things but not going to say.....

Thanks, yeah I’m still not really sure what’s going on. They say do this eval and they cut me a check, doesn’t release them from any responsibility. They say I’m unfit to do my job now yet I work harder and get more done than the others. I really just don’t get all this but I do get a bad feeling about it. Tryouts ngvto ne option mystic however, something good will come of it.

I have never seen fog here. Can't say I miss it either. Occasionally there'll be a sort of mist over a canal or one of the bodies of water but nothing you'd call fog.

Good morning folks. The geologist wants to meet at the office at 0600 so I have a little time to kill.

    Lots of fog here.
I'm 4 miles inland and close to some large watersheds, so fog is common.
Growing up, I was 1/2 mile from the Sound, so fog happened a lot.
Water temps in the Sound are still cold in the low 50's.

I just don't think we have enough water to do it unless it's humid and then the temps aren't right to hit the dew point. I went to high school on the north Ca coast and that fog was really wet. I rode a motorcycle fulltime then and would be soaked by the time I got to school. Before that we lived inland and would get it but not as bad. I just think the lower desert soaks every bit of moisture it can or we're in a spot that doesn't lend itself to fog. I seen something on tv where somewhere here in Az the fog will roll in and water the desert plants but I haven't seen it in person.

Does anyone here have any insight on the computer tablets that the screen comes off? I guess I'm getting one at work with a hot spot. I'm almost always mobile and just haven't found the right combination of tech/comm yet. Currently I have an iPad and a flip phone. What I really need is a smart phone but can't have that and an iPad. I guess there's one of those computer/tablets with a removable keyboard in the office new in the box. Just never been exposed to them.

Title 24 is done, still have no idea what that is. Trying to get the finalized drawing from the architect for the permits, he is stalling again.
Survey has been delayed to next week.
I have the surface pro. I like the design and power and the detachable keyboard. No issues yet.
No DVD drive, but so far not an issue, flash drive works just fine.

My high end work laptop doesn't even have a DVD, but it has two batteries which is nice. Almost never an issue, but we have an external in the drawer if needed. Also, I have to have "special" approval for my USB port to work due to my job. Gotta protect the company from the employees and the secrets of toilet paper.

I have a surface pro also for what I do with it it works great. Basic office stuff, email etc. There are some settings to make it a little more convenient, increase battery life and such . Later I will find the video on it and link it. I have a few add on's doc station, hard case etc. If you want a pic I let me know.
