I would tell you, but I had an incredibly bad experience with them and dont want to give them any credit what-so-ever. It was a local company that quoted me for them, then after they shipped them to me, told me their quote was wrong and that I had to pay the difference (an arguement then ensued). Then when it arrived at my house they called me again and told me I was responsible for the $210 shipping and import charges that I never signed off on or agreed to.

The original price they sent me in their quote was less than half of what the real price was after you factor in proper item prices, shipping and import fees.

Go with TNutz or try and get them from Fastenal if you have an account.

These would unfortunately be cost prohibitive to produce in single racks. All of the material/labor involved with sourcing the aluminum and having it cut adds up quick. Maybe down the line if more people get in touch with me, I could make 5-6 for the community. But as of right now, making one at a time wont work.

Based on my own costs for making mine, no. Would be a little cheaper or around the same price. The most expensive part is honestly the T-Slot bars. So you could potentially save some money by ordering the T-Slot bars off of TNutz.com yourself, and just buying the frame/windguards seperately.

I got hammered having T-Slot bars shipped to canada. After the import fees and everything, I was paying like $40 per bar. US residents could get them a lot cheaper since its all shipping within the country.

You do have to factor in the added cost of the LED light bars on the side. I designed the rack to work with this very specific 7" flush-mount lightbar on ebay/Amazon. It would be around $50-60 to buy 6 of them, so add that onto the price of the rack

nice job. would love to get some of the specs from your build for the one I'm about to do as well. how did you do the radius to match the roofline curve on the front end of the roof.

Trial and error, I basically took a long piece of cardboard and traced the roof lines onto it, then put all the measurements into AutoCad and went from there. I made two or three of them before I got all the proportions right, wasnt easy haha.

@tundraconvert PrinSu design makes them for $675. I need to do some measuring and get the details figured out. I have access to a water jet and a brake so it will help for the cost of this overall.

OP, what did you use for feet to mount the rack? I really like what you did!

Unfortunately its cost prohibitive now. The price of aluminum went up a lot, and I cant see anybody wanting to pay $800-900 USD for a full rack system like this, when there are other options on the market like prinsu that do the a similar thing for cheaper.

The feet were designed into the frame on the rack, and bent to spec using a large hydraulic metal bending brake to bend them at a 90 degree angle to fit the contours of the roof.
