    Whole lotta stuff
The problem with that is, you're intentionally allowing the weapon to discharge high pressures without cycling. This kind of over pressure, like that which is found in hotter 5.56 cartridges, I would suspect could cause excessive wear in the chamber and could cause damage to the gas system in DI guns. Remember your gas tube and gas key are designed to be a passage for gas and not to trap it. I suspect felt recoil would increase as well since all that gas must escape through the muzzle. With an M16/AR-15 type rifle, that kind of abuse is just asking for a malfunction.

Do any of you know of a manufacture who makes a remote switch that is a on/off system, instead of the more common "pressure" switch for a laser or laser/light combo? And is it adaptable to other brands? I don't like worrying about activating a "pressure" switch properly when handing a firearm.

Myself also. It doesn’t beat an instinctual laser but it does come in a close second.
