33lbs all around seems to be the happy medium. Any higher on P rated tires gets a little jarring, especially on the back end. Any lower and you start seeing a decrease in mpg.

i run 33 psi all around. noticeable wobble reduction and slight improvement at the pump, but fuel savings are marginal

I noticed a big difference in mpg when I went from several years at 30 to now 35psi. Definitely a bumpier ride, but much less resistance on the road. I air down a little in the winter (32psi).

No mods. And I'd agree, 33 is the sweet spot.

ive got moderate weight reduction going. anything that wasnt necessary, nailed down or dangerous to remove (damn airbags) is gone, safely tucked away in some boxes should i ever want them again.

I am there with you. My commute is 5.5 miles from home to work down one road - a very busy road nonetheless with tons of lights. I have a tonneau cover, changed factory exhaust to cat back and install an CAI. I never turn on the A/C and my MPG doesn't increase from 15.9 - 16.5. I have no load on the truck and no hard acceleration. PSI is at 35. dunno to increase to 37PSI.

In town that’s not horrible. What do you get on the highway?

In theory, when installing a larger than OEM tire of the same load rating, would one put more or less PSI in it than the door sticker suggests? My gut says more, but I'm really not sure?

I'm not asking "what's best". I'm asking with regard to having the larger tire pressure "match" the smaller tire, so as to maintain the "factory feel".

That’s good, when my DCSB 4.0 was stock best I got was 16-17. Now that it’s got 35s and armor it’s 11-12.
My little AC 2.7 gets 22.5 best tank

Michelin Defender M+S at 245-75-16 ... does well with 35 psi to 36 psi @ front & rear.

I did a media project for Michelin tires and they said you don't have to go by what the tire is rated at, as stated on the sidewall, but what you're vehicle specifically states on the door jam placard. 32-35psi is perfect, especially if you're running E load tires since it'll help soften them a bit. Just my .02

I'm running BF Goodrich KO2s in 31X10.50r15, load range C on 15x7 rims. Typically I've found 35psi is a decent starting place, but after doing some chalk testing these seem to make the best contact at 29 or so - at 35 they were crowning. The tread patch seems to be quite a bit wider than the Firestone ATs in the same size I had before, so for these particular tires the placard in the door jamb was pretty much spot on. Makes sense, considering this truck is pretty damn light for what it is.

Update: After looking at Discount Tire's Load/Inflation chart which seemed to indicate these tires should be filled at 40, I emailed BF Goodrich and asked for their take on it. They got back to me the next day, and confirmed that in order to retain the same load reserve as the stock P-rated tires, as well as to avoid premature wear or failure caused by excess heat from underinflation, they also recommended 40psi. So, that's what I'll be running for the foreseeable future. So far the gas mileage is 1-2 mpgs better (predictably; the truck just feels like it rolls better, tires are quieter, and it feels less spongy cornering and braking. Man, the ride is punishing over expansion gaps and potholes, but I'm getting the sense that is the tradeoff I've made.

Only thing I can think of is if that truck came with load range E tires. But that sure seems unlikely. Did Pros come with E's?

Ive messed around with all kinds of pressures. And now run 29psi. That's what's on the b pillar sticker. It's seems to be the best number. Running E 265/75/16.

Update: I was getting some uneven wear at 29psi. after about 10k miles there was a lot vibrations from the shoulder lugs. I bumped up pressure to 32, rotated tires and after about 5k seem to be wearing much better.
