    Mostly stuff I built.
I sent mine into Caterpillar because it is readily available to me but any company that does petroleum products testing should be able to test it for you.

Yeah the truck went to running bad after 2500-3000 miles on the 1.03c tune so I was pretty sure it was not the tune. No changes to the truck and the weather was pretty consistent at the time. Fuel was the obvious culprit in me case.

Keeping close tabs on my fuel as always and religiously using Lucas upper cylinder lubricant has kept me and the engine happy.

    Welp, here we go...

Will it be OV or Stamkos moving on to the final?

This is what I would love for throttle response on my Tacoma. Highland 2GR-FKS VS TACO 2GR-FKS.

I would be so happy if that was possible on a tacoma....

Your still turning the torque converter which I suspect weights more than a flywheel. Also the auto Tacoma has the same throttle response as the manual.

You and I both, but everyone tells me its our flywheel, and that I'm too picky....
Maybe @OVTune can chime on in of why it isn't implemented in the tune.

That's BS about the flywheel. The auto taco has the same slow throttle response.

Hmm I have driven the auto and the manual and I think the manual has worse response stock.

If you've noticed a difference it's marginal and neither are even close to the Highland, Sienna or Camry.

Not to mention the throttle response is way better when stopped/clutch in than it is when in neutral/clutch out OR when blipping (in motion).

Flywheel is in play the whole time guys. Don't try and tell me that adding the transmission internals/fluid to the equation is making that much of a difference.

I'm sure if Mat had access to a M/T test mule for more than a day he could dial the throttle in for us. You can only do so much by remote testing.

    Anyway, just an observation..

Go try the auto Taco. It still has a slow throttle response and isn't even close to the Highlander. Would you like me to add a video?

Looks like maybe the Highlander gets kind of a head-start?
It starts out about 200 or 300 higher in RPM before you punch it?

No trickery here. It's indisputable that the Highland, Sienna and Camry have a quicker throttle response. Go try one for yourself.

I would really love to see if OV can get our throttle to act in a similar way.
