I'm sure it's been asked somewhere but I couldn't find it

Can I run the 16x8 3.50 bs on a 2nd gen with stock suspension? wanted to get them for now and then do all the suspension nonsense in a couple months

Just gonna go with 265/75/16 for now because my buddy is hooking me up with some he never got around to using. I wanted to make sure there was no cutting or anything I'd have to do haha

You'll be trimming some of the inside front fender flare. It's just plastic and a zip knife cuts the corner off easily.

Why 16x8? Just curious, I know everybody's different.

But I'd go with the 17x9s. Gives a really nice look with the 3.5bs and the extra inch of lip.

And I noticed you are a PreRunner, me Too!

If you would consider a spindle lift in the future some 16" wheels could be a little close to the spindle.

Just something to think about

Honestly I'm mainly doing it because they're lighter and a bit cheaper and the fact that I could maybe get some in the next shipment haha. I'm sick of the stock wheels .

I've looked into the spindle life I might have to grab one down the road.

And sick PreRunner man, 2wd gang

    Thank you!!

Hell yeah, can't really go wrong either way. Although the 16x8s (with 3.5bs) would probably clear Maxtrac spindles no problem I just think the 17x9s are something special.

    Yes. 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers

It's on a super budget friendly lift Too!

Maxtrac spindles & 3rd gen OR shocks and coils up front for 5" lift

And Dakars with extended length Bilsteins in the rear.

Going to swap the front shocks with 5100s (set to zero) keeping the coils and slap a .25" top plate spacer on both sides for an extra light height up front and possibly a little bit better than stock ride.

One day I'll upgrade to a full ADS Resi setup front and back but it's just not in the budget now.

You've got a lot of options so just holler if you need anything and best of luck!

    It will certainly feel good!

Totally not saying the 16x8s would be a bad choice for anybody.

    That 17x9 tho
