Sounds like a plan! My daughter lives in Cambridge and attends MIT. We have visited a couple of times. It's a nice place to visit, but I would never live there. ;)

Yeah I'm right outside Cambridge in Somerville, and I have the joy of spending a third of my commute driving through Cambridge just to get to the highway haha

If Boston was located south of DC, and didn't have all the rules and regulations about all the things I enjoy, I'd love it haha.

I usually buy the 5 year plan at NTB. Unlimited alignments for that 5 year period

It's all your fault. Now I see the "wrong" orientation of the stars everywhere. Stickers, hats, shirts. Ugh.

Maybe like $150 total. I usually get my alignment redone after a wheeling trip. More wheeling = more alignments... more money saved

Just another shoot-out to the A+ team over at Ron Hibbard up in Gallatin. Solid team all around. They had my truck for 3 days (during which time I was loaned the same model truck I left in an '18 model) and during that time they addressed several issues that had been frustrating me for the 18 months I've owned my truck. My chirping fuel pump that sounded like a fan belt was slipping and squealing at a stop / idle was replaced and the engine bay now purrs aside from the clicks of the cleaning injectors. My rear-end howl that was getting progressively worse was fixed entirely, and they replaced the gasket on my weeping rear differential. Jordan, my service advisor @TN_TacoSupreme hooked me up with was courteous and called me frequently over the 3 days to provide status updates as they ordered new leafs, damper, HPFP to address my concerns.

For me, living on the south side of Nashville, Gallatin is a 50 minute each-way drive and worth every minute of it. I'll be scheduling any future service and likely purchasing my next Tacoma from those guys!

That is awesome man! I ended up taking my junk to CS Auto for the TB/valve work. I did it purely out of convenience. I will update on how they did with it later this week hopefully. It is a LOT of engine work (which is all way over my head and lack of time to do it) and they had to order valve shims. Since my truck is long out of warranty, I wasn't limited to just dealer work, but if it was in warranty I would def go there over Beaman. Thankfully the owner, Rob, is the one doing the work and he also let me order a valve cover from an online Toyota dealer and ship it to the shop while waiting on the shims... saved me a good amount of money by doing that.

Good deal - yeah, CS auto seem like good folks for sure when I talked to them when I was having some of my initial issues with CKP sensor and cats. Now that I'm over 25k I'll do all my own standard maintenance but anything bigger than that I'll be headed up north.

At least we have a couple of good places to go here i middle-tn minimum. I hear good and bad stories from Cool Springs and I wouldn't let Beaman grease my MTB chain at this point.

Yeah, I love my Prinsu cabrac - solid as it gets! I also have an awesome rolling tonneau from truck covers USA that was my first mod when I bought my truck. Love how easy is for me to carry bikes / boats / paddles above the bed then use the prinsu for MORE boats and paddlboards :) Then we had a baby and wife likes to take the truck out of town which I certainly prefer as well... now I wish I had a cap w/ a rack. Strollers and framed kid carrier packs take up a lot of bed space!!!!

I think my AC compressor is about to shit the bed.. hoping my lines aren't filled with metal shrapnel or this bill is going to cost an arm and a leg... that and my upper ball joints need to be replaced... and I have a hot start issue. Think that might be leaking injectors... probably made worse by the pressurized BG44K cleaning through the fuel rail... yay. :spending:

Upper ball joints have holes in the boots, I'm going to try to load the joint up with a ton of grease and hopefully that'll keep me going for a few more months.

    OUCH!

I have never hesitated to fix AC in a car, here in TN it's worth whatever it costs.
