    Hello,

New to this thread and looking to buy my first Tacoma. I wanted the new Calvary blue color until I realized that I had to buy the TRD Pro to get it. Too much money for me.

So, now I'm looking at the TRD Sport in Cement color. From what I've read, Toyota doesn't really deal too much on new vehicles, so I shouldn't be expecting a huge discount.

Anything I should consider before purchasing this? I just bought my first house about 8 months ago and am wanting a truck for weekend projects and to haul my mountain bikes around.

Would you all recommend the TRD Sport, 2018, or should I be considering a different trim?

Depends on your use. The off-road has crawl control and a rear locket. The sport does not.

Also, out of curiousity where are you located?

What do you plan on using it for. (Off roading, hauling, DD)?

    More off road than hauling.

A sport is just fine and capable. With the off road you get crawl control and a locker. So if you plan on doing some serious off roading get the off road. Get the sport in 4x4 and it still be capable of plenty of off roading that you throw at it.
