Take the door panel off and clean it properly. Takes two minutes to remove.

    That's amateur hour.

I was in Death Valley a few weeks back. Having come from Canada, I couldn't bring my dog's raw meat across the border (laws, yo), so I converted her (not slowly enough) to kibble a few days prior to leaving. Despite supplementing kibble with raw meat (as practicality allowed), she was still having semi-runny poop. Well, we got to Saline Springs, and I put the dog in her kennel (in place of rear seats) for the night (she always sleeps there). But this time, for the first time in my life, I decided to leave the kennel open and put a water bowl in front of it.

My buddy woke me up at 7am with the words "uuhhh... there's a problem."

The dog had explosive (I'm talking Michael-Bay-blowing-up-helicopters-level of explosive) diarrhea in the kennel. (Rapid change in diet, stress from 40C heat that day, etc.) Then she climbed out through the ~10"-wide opening (I have no idea how, as she's twice that size in girth), squeezed between the headrest and the B-pillar, into the front seats, and then had another 3-4 rounds of explosive diarrhea, while spinning around.

Every part of both seats, every piece of carpet, steering wheel, every knob, every button, every piece of trim, every window... EVERYTHING got a taste.

We spent three hours cleaning with wet wipes (of which we, luckily, had a lot). It took a week to air out (while we were still on the trip).

Once home, I removed the Clazzio seat covers and the seats themselves, washed both. Steam cleaned all carpet, all trim, all buttons and everything else in view. Removed all four door panels - washed from inside out. The damn speakers BEHIND the door panels were covered in it. I removed the plastic trim on the bottom, near the door, and found a dried puddle under it... this was on the driver's side, furthest from the "impact." HOW GOD DAMNIT, HOW?!?!?!

Sarah Palin almost had the same issue, but her banana went rogue. I guess the shade of Rouge didn't compliment your skin tone? :bananadance:
