New muffler or weld in a resonator?

    Id suggest a muffler.... theres no need for a catback unless yours is rotted or you are force fed to be honest.

    Just did muffler only, $110 installed compared to $300-$500 for a catback. I don’t need a chrome or stainless tip, it’s just something else to keep clean!

    I just did a cat Back system on my 09 trd 4.0 got it from Amazon called DNA motoring cat back system. There was no reviews for it but 190 for a cat Back system vs 500 for borla I figured I'd try it out. I love it the idle sounds mean as hell and the higher rpms on acceleration have that "pop" ( think GTA 3 the blue truck if anyone knows what I'm talking about) and almost no drone. Only draw back is between 2000 and 3000 rpm on acceleration it sounds a little ricey. And it came with all hardware new mounts and clamps plus a pretty chrome tip. Took all of 20 min to put in with just a ratchet and some pb blaster
