I'm looking forward to getting the Tires...

I plan to crawl around some shitty roads and back into my hunt camp this summer..

Its a mild trail, but muddy and rocky... And when it rains, its slick mud..

I don't think the stockers are to good for that, they seem weak.. But do have good traction and are smooth..

I dunno if it'll quite look like that, but thats the tire..

    I got LT245/75R16

I'm not into lifting and big tiresand all that shit.. Stock size is practical..

I ran a set of the original Destination MT's on a work truck. Hands down the best off-road traction of any tire I've run. Zero worries of getting stuck in deep desert sand and rocks. They did end up wearing quickly, chunking, and were super loud at the end. Hopefully they've addressed some of these issues in the new version.

got the tires mounted on new OEM steel wheels today... LT245/75/16

I'm impressed with how smooth and balanced the tires are... They even threw a weight and there is no unacceptable shaking... And I'm kinda picky...

They are quiet as well... I'm sure as they wear, they will get louder..

The tire really soaks up the bumps... I was running the stock All -Terrain Adventures and the new Firestone's despite being heavier actually took bumps so much better.. We have a dirty string of road here and these tires are much better on the chipped asphalt and washed out gravel roads... more control..

I did not expect to be so pleased with the manners of such an aggressive tire.. I am happy with my choice.. And I recommend them...

Overall I was shocked with this tire..

So I've had the tires for awhile now and tested them out a few times...

Truck does great with them... Get me everywhere I need to go... Even the shitty trail back to the cabin..

I have the original Destination MT’s on my truck. Love them. Curious how these will compare to the originals.

I think the greatest thing about these tires is how they ride on the street... They have some serious manners..

They took no weight hardly for balance...

I've lost all the weights off 1 tire and some came off another and there is no balance issues... I'm actually pretty picky about that and as much as I know they are not right, I'm just gunna ride em out... I feel no shakes or run out wobble.. they are pretty true for the knobs on them..

I was running 33lbs and bumped it up to 36 for better on the street handling... The extra 3 lbs makes a noticeable difference on bumps and rocks when off road.. A little more rough is all..

I've log quite a few KM's on these tires and I'm still happy... On and off road they are great...

I'll get some pics up of these in action...

The bugs are bad right now.. Not fun to get in and out of the truck in water holes and swamps...

Looks like they can hold up to abuse, might have to put these on my future to get list.

Did you order them from firestone directly or did you find them 3rd party? Curious as to the price. I'll be moving up a size and am having a hard time finding something other than the wildpeak M/T that doesn't break the bank too much

How about the noise factor. It seems that when I find a tire I like in most respects, there's always something I would change. I've been told MTs can be kinda loud on the highway. Because of gunfire, too deep too fast scuba diving, and rock concerts as a dumb-ass kid, I don't seem to notice when my tires are loud. I'm just guessing you can still hear pretty well, are these tires loud on the highway?

I got them right from a Firestone dealer... He had to special order them I know that.. And they were made just a few weeks before I got them according to the build date on the tire..

The road noise is really not that bad. I would say they are no louder than a half worn set of Duratracs.. But they are new, get back to me in 40,000km...lol....They will be louder..

I'm a very picky tire guy... And I kinda winged it on these over a set of A/T's... And I'm sooo glad I did..

My mileage has not significantly changed either going to the 10 ply.. The original 265/70 was getting me as low as 10L per 100km over a 500km trip.. I'm now on the same trip about 10.5L... This is doing roughly 80-90kph..

As soon as I get up around 110kph, I'm running about 11 to 11.8L per 100km...

    Not much to dither about..

I actually have mine off right now because I'm busy at work, and I don't want to wear them out on pavement... my commute is a dandy...

I have them on reserve for this fall when hunting season comes, and the winter won't be to far behind... I'm curious as to how they will work out as well... @KBOX
