    Point valid.
You’d have to spend an extra 5k-7k on a limited edition or less and get the trail for that tech. Gas mileage is huge though, have to agree. Probably why it’s the biggest saler for Toyota!

I like the older RAV4 with the V6. Over 260 hp IIRC.

I actually like it too. Unfortunately by the time you get the AWD model you're probably pushing Taco prices.

I doubt the prices will change much from what they currently are, this is the most competitive segment in the car market. Around here you can get a base model AWD Rav4 for 23 and change all day long.

269 HP 3.5 2GR-FE. Ask me how I know lol.

That thing was quick for a small SUV.

yes guy ... pocket rocket ... not so much on the gas mileage

We have a '16 with the 4cy good enough in "SPORT" mode ... gas mileage is awesome in "ECO" / hwy cruising. Driven it to Florida from Ontario - smooth on the HWY

Will get '19+ when the lease is up

I think Toyota used a minivan engine in the RAV4. An engine meant for a 4000 lb vehicle put in a lighter RAV4. For a little while it was one of the fastest stock vehicles Toyota had available in the USA.

Highway mileage wasn't bad at all with the V6. I owned one. For the extra power, I'll take that 1-2MPG hit all day long with the V6 (compare 4WD models on both 4 and 6 cyl):

Around 6.5 - 6.8 sec 0-60. The Camry at the time with the same engine was faster.

This is the only reason we keep ours..and it would feel like we’re giving away a perfectly good vehicle. No significant issues with a 2010 Sport at 110k Miles. Brakes are undersized a bit and will eventually warp...other than that we got a good one.
