Hey guys I’m a new member and was having issues finding a replacement lower ball joint wasn’t sure if I needed an after market one? I went to a local Napa and tried getting the part but it didn’t match the one on my truck!

    It’s a 1995 Tacoma lx 2wd 2.4 manual

    Thanks guys!

You need to replace the part on the spindle, the part you pictured isn’t the ball joint just the bracket to hold the bj to the lca

I know this is probably too late to affect the decision of the OP but wanted to share my experience w/nearly identical truck vintage and aftermarket NAPA and AutoZone parts: BUY OEM!
My pass. side lower balljoint failed pretty much w/o warning. Had truck towed home, went to NAPA that day and purchased both upper and lower balljoints, tie rod end and brake hose. After a closer examination of my front suspension I went ahead and bought many more front suspension components, this time from AutoZone: driver side upper and lower bjs, control arm bushings, stabilizer bar bushings, etc.
Installation issues and details being superfluous here, I'll just write the "takeaway" : spend the money, BUY OEM.
The dust boots on 3 of the 4 new balljoints all split before they'd been on 6 months. (They were all toast before 9 months had passed). Mind you, these were parts from two totally different suppliers. Do a site search on this subject (I did, after the fact-too late!) - you will find an overwhelming amount of evidence and written testimony supporting the purchase of OEM replacement parts for this application.
I do have pics, can dig them up for the benefit of any who would need visual 'proof'.
